Chad Schoen is a combination of Joe Pass, James Hetfield, Django Reinhardt, Eddie Lang, SRV and Jim Hall

A fan and player of every genre of music he can get his hands on, Schoen combines his eclectic palette to find his unique sound. Before he was classically trained in Jazz and Classical music, Schoen cut his teeth in the clubs and bars, studying the greats on his own. Classically trained in Jazz Guitar, Classical Guitar, Jazz Piano, Jazz Bass, Classical Piano, Jazz and Classical Composition, Jazz Arranging, and Jazz Pedagogy. Add some heavy metal, rockabilly, and bluegrass.
